Blupath App Driver POPI Consent 

This application (App) is the sole intellectual property of BluPath Technologies Limited (company number 13974581), a company incorporated in accordance with the laws of England and Wales (BluPath Technologies) and by using this App I give my consent to BluPath Technologies to:

• collect my personal information, to process it via the App and any integration with any other software owned or operated by BluPath Technologies, to store my data and to further process my data for analysis purposes for a period of 7 years from the date of transport of the load assigned to me via the BluPath transportation management platform (Platform) and/or the App;
• to allow the App to track my location so that the App knows where I am in the delivery process while I'm handling a load on behalf of a customer. I will give my specific consent to this background location tracking at the time that the App requests tracking my location depending on the permission levels that I select;
• to transfer and/or process my personal information in the EU and in the US where the software-as-a-service servers of our technology partners are based in the EU and the US provided that they will apply standards no less onerous than those applied in South Africa in terms of the requirements of the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013 (POPIA); and
• to de-identify my personal information (including, but not limited to, my geo-location from time to time in transporting a load allocated to me) after the expiry of a period of 7 years and to process that de-identified information for historical and/or statistical purposes.

We will notify you if your personal information is accessed by any unauthorized person as required by POPIA. At any time during your use of this App, you will be entitled to:

• establish what of your personal information we hold about you;
• request access to the personal information that we hold about you;
• request the correction, destruction, or deletion of your personal information;
• object on reasonable grounds to the processing of your personal information including an objection based on the processing of your personal information for prospecting purposes;
• submit a complaint to any regulatory authority in your country responsible for regulating the processing of personal information, provided that you shall first have submitted a complaint to the BluPath Information Officer at informationofficer@blupath.com; and
• institute civil proceedings regarding the alleged interference with your personal information.
